MEETING PLACE: Simorre is situated on the D12 which runs north from Boulogne-sur-Gesse /Lac de la Gimont, to Simorre, Saramon and Gimont. As you enter Simorre (from the south) there is a small roundabout junction with the D129 and on the right hand corner there is a car park (large Plane trees with petanque court surfacing beneath). The New Year Burns Night Run
SUNDAY 25th January 2015 at Lamaguere;
Hares : SEX POT and FART MACHINE
Lovely sunny weather, but bitterly cold. A huge crowd of Hashers, including 4 virgins and nearly all wearing something tartan – of special note were PINKYS stockings - gathered at the church and then rambled off into unchartered territory, up hill, down dale, through shiggy, past barking dogs, along country lanes – we had it all. We were refreshed at the HashHalt with healthy clementines and a lovely southerly view and then continued on until we regrouped at the church, by which time SEX POT and SHEEPSHAGGER could be seen disappearing, all smiles and waves, in a nice warm 4x4 – a grave sin and especially irresponsible behavior by a Hare!
But all was forgiven when we arrived back at SEX POT and FART MACHINES barn, where we were provided with lots of beer and wine and a delicious spread with a Scottish theme. AIRHEAD sat it out once again, as is his habit these days – we wish him well.
An all round good time.
